I’ve been getting a bit of a reputation lately. Long are the days when people would call me controversial. Now, they just call me vengeful. Why? It started a few weeks ago after I was boasting on both my radio show and my podcast that I am pro-revenge on exes who have wronged me. Since then, I am bombarded daily with requests for ideas of how to get back at the ex that cheated and left us in the dumps.
Most decent people would tell you the best revenge is success. Get richer, get thinner, muscle up, grow your hair, get a boob job-and yes, it’s true, the best way to give that symbolic middle finger to someone who destroyed your life is by significantly improving yourself. I agree here, but I like to take it a bit further. I’m the kind of person that likes to go down to that level where you play a little dirty to get even.
So, let’s start simple this Valentines season! Here’s the plan: Send a Valentines Day card to your ex this February 14! And what should you write? Easy. Jot down the things that you remember your ex wanted from you, the more superficial, the better. Think of the personal flaws he/she complained about. Some of the things that he/she said you never did for him/her. Get sexual. Tell him you’re having more sex now and you’re finally having REAL orgasms. Get it? Your card should read something like this:
“Hi, Guess what? I now enjoy giving BJs more than ever! You should see my new technique, my new guy can’t get enough! Happy Valentines Day asshole!”
Send him some chocolate with a cute little sign that reads:
“The chocolates I’m eating tastes like kisses. I hope you’re eating shit.”
You can attach a photo of your improved self (not giving the BJ, of course). Tell him/her about your new fling, your new lifestyle, your new income. Keep it short. Would you sound bitter? Possibly. But who cares, you get to call him a douchebag on the day of love.
Before you call me the asshole, I want you to remember what kind of pain you went through when you found out he was porking another girl (maybe even your friend!). Or take yourself back to that time when you read her cellphone and saw a text from her boss saying how he enjoyed their time after business hours. Do you remember the feeling? It was devastating.
Take note: This V-Day card is small time. It’s just a simple reminder for the season of love. There’s a hidden vengeful beast in all of us-I just happen to promote mine. I even ask my listeners to make personal appointments with me (free of charge) to set out an elaborate battle plan of how you will fight back.
You may ask how do I find joy in hurting others? I don’t. I find joy in helping a victim of a cheating partner avenge their ruined self. Think Robin Hood for the broken hearted.
